On Monday, the Lady Railers
traveled to Lisle, Illinois, up Chicago way for the 33rd Annual
Coach Derril Kipp’s Hoopsfest. The opponent was Wheaton North, a
team of gals that outsized the Lady Railers by quite a bit.
The Wheaton team was in for a big letdown if they thought the
little girls from Lincoln were an easy win. The Lady Railers
beat their socks off with a 91-54 score at the final buzzer.
Immediately after the handshakes, Lincoln’s Kloe Froebe and
Wheaton North’s Zoey Bohmner were named Players of the Game.
Froebe led the team with 43 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.
That’s a stat line for some entire teams, no joke.
