Three arrested and charged in
Tuesday night "shots fired" incident in Lincoln

On Tuesday, January 17‘h, 2023, at approximately 6:39
p.m., Lincoln Police Officers responded to several reports of shots
fired in the 1100 block of Second Street in Lincoln.
Logan County Sheriff's Deputies assisted in securing the scene.
Responding officers verified that several suspects, armed with
firearms, became involved in an altercation with other people in
that area. Information received at that scene led officers to a
residence several blocks away on Gavin Street, where Lincoln Police
Officers located three suspects and took them into custody without
incident.

The firearms used in the
commission of the offense were seized as evidence.
The suspects, two adult men and one juvenile, were
arrested.
On Thursday, January 19, 2023, the Logan County State's Attorney's
Office filed charges including one count of reckless discharge of a
firearm and six counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon
against each of the three suspects.
