Pictured center at the 2022 ribbon cutting of the Lincoln Banking Center is First National Bank in Tremont President and Logan County native June Kidd.

Kidd has announced that she will be retiring from the bank next year in June. As part of the transition, she will step down as president in March, when Josh Dickey will be taking on the position. She will retain her position as Chief Executive Officer at the bank until her retirement.

Local

The community pool in Mt. Pulaski will be re-opening on Wednesday, July 12th at noon.  The pool has been closed for a restoration and update.

The normal hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday

In celebration of the re-opening admission to the pool will be free from the 12th through Sunday, July 16th.

Attention Mt. Pulaski residents
Notice of road closure

Starting on July 10th and continuing through the 14th, Canadian Railroad will be working on the railroad crossing at the intersection of South Washington Street & Scroggin Avenue.

These roads will be closed for railroad repairs / replacement of the railroad crossing at this intersection.

Please plan / schedule accordingly.
