- Shirley G. Savery, 96, of Lincoln, formerly of
Tucson, AZ, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Timbercreek
Village.

Obituary
Shirley G. Savery, 96, of Lincoln,
formerly of Tucson, AZ, passed away on Thursday,
July 20, 2023, at Timbercreek Village.
Shirley was born March 28, 1927, in Milwaukee, WI,
the daughter of Ralph and Elaine (Rehwinkle) Wright.
She married James Savery on August 6, 1949. They
were married 73 years. He preceded her in death on
June 23, 2023.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Steven Savery of
Tucson, AZ, and Daniel (Jeannette) Savery of
Lincoln, grandchildren, Elaine (Darrin) Worth, and
Stephanie (Allen) Pitts; great-grandchildren,
Zachary Menzel, Emma Menzel, Alyssa Anderson, Bryce
Pitts, Addyson Pitts, Sydney Worth, and McKenzie
Worth. |
Shirley was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband; three sisters; and one
brother.
A memorial service and burial for Shirley will be
held at a later date in Arizona. Cremation rites
have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
