LAMS Summer Concerts in the Park kick off this Sunday evening

The Lincoln Area Music Society has announced the return of Summer Band Concerts in Latham Park starting this Sunday evening.

The concerts will be held on Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. starting on Sunday, June 11th, and continuing June 18th, June 25th, and July 2nd.

Directing the band will be Riley McDorman, director of bands and choruses for Athens CUSD #213.

Everyone is invited to bring their lawn chair and enjoy music in the park.

Any musician who plays woodwinds, brass or percussion instruments are welcome to join the band during rehearsals, which are held every Thursday evening during the concert season at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Community High School.
