June Third Fridays Downtown Lincoln brings Nashville to town

[June 12, 2023]    Come visit Downtown Lincoln on June 16th for Third Friday!

This month’s theme is “Nashville Nights”. The event starts at 5:30 p.m., activities for kids will run until 8:30 p.m., and music will end at 10 p.m.

The City of Lincoln and the Third Fridays committee have planned another great event. Whether you are wanting to listen to live music, eat delicious food, play games, shop, or make art, there is something for everyone.

There will be multiple local bands playing this month.

They are:

  • Tulo & Eads: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Flossie & Delzena’s

  • Biloxi Banks: 5:30 p.m. at Fox Hole

  • Graviel: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rio Grande

  • Lincoln’s Dead: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sorrento's Pizzeria

  • Aaron Elijah: 6:30 p.m. at Guest House

  • Stereo Typical: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Spirited Republic

  • Harmony GRITS: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Alley-Bi

Feel free to bring a lawn chair if you would like to sit for the music.

Numerous vendors will be set up along Kickapoo street to sell items, food, play games or share information about their organization and the Railsplitter Antique Auto Club will be on the corner of Mclean and Pulaski Streets.

The kids’ corner on Broadway Street will have plenty of fun activities to keep everyone busy. The Lincoln Park District will be providing games for kids and inflatables will be back.

This month there will be henna tattoos, rock painting, rock painting, and chalk drawing. Artisans will be located on McLean Street with original handmade work for sale.

As for food, there are plenty of vendors selling items such as popcorn, snow cones, baked goods, cotton candy, hot dogs, tacos, ice cream and drinks.

Sorrento’s will have pizza by the slice.

The Alley-Bi and Mama’s Arcade will be selling their famous cheeseburgers.

Ami-gos’ Tacos will be set up in front of the Rusty Rail.

Guest House, Top Hat Creamery, Guzzardo’s, Spirited Republic, Flossie & Delzena’s, the Rusty Rail and the Foxhole Pub will be open for business as well.

The committee is excited to continue these events and hope that all will come for an evening of fun, food, and live entertainment!
