Logan Crime Stoppers is one of the first Crime Stopper programs to be
enacted in Illinois. The main mission is to help combat crime by giving
monetary rewards to anonymous individuals who provide information to
local law enforcement without the fear of retribution.
In the past 39 years funding has been through the court system.
Unfortunately, due to current circumstances, funding has decreased
significantly, and the community is being asked for help.
Lincoln Logan Crime Stoppers has paid out over $27,000 to anonymous
individuals for tips that led to successful arrests.
Lincoln Logan County Crime Stoppers sponsors and participates in various
events throughout the year. We offer child fingerprint programs to
schools and have partnered with Lincoln Memorial Hospital for Family
Bowling Day. We are proud to be able to offer scholarships to eligible
Logan County students that are pursuing a career in Criminal Justice,
awarding 35 scholarships to date.
Community support is critical if Lincoln Logan County Crime Stoppers is
to continue serving the citizens of Logan County.
