[April 04, 2023]

Our focus this week for Lent is helping the Lincoln Pregnancy Resource Center. They need a variety of new/gently used baby clothes, blankets, diapers, toys, etc. and/or monetary donations are always welcome. Please send in our things by Friday. They will be here next week to pick them up. If you happen to have any baby shower or baby gift bags at home, would you please send them in. We’ll use them to present our gifts to the LPRC.

Reminder School Club is hosting a NEON dance for students in grades 5-8 on Friday the 24th from 7-8:30am.

I know the students are going to enjoy this so much. Thank you in advance to all who help with this dance.

The Children’s Choir will be singing at the 10 a.m. Mass here in the gym on Sunday. Please join us for Mass.

Praying of the rosary will be said by all students (preschool-eighth grades) on Tuesday, 3/28 at 12:30p in the gym. All are welcome to attend.

Students will have the opportunity for Lent Reconciliation with Fr. Joe and Fr. Narcis on Wednesday, 3/29 at the Children’s Mass. Teachers will help students prepare for this.

Don’t forget to check OptionC for your child’s lunch balance. Please send cash/check to the office. I’ll process it for you.

Living Stations of the Cross
Friday, March 31st at 1 p.m. in the gym

All faiths are welcome!!!

You are invited to Carroll Catholic School to learn from our teenagers about Christ's last hours on earth. The Living Stations gives an unique perspective and interpretation of the events portrayed in the Stations of the Cross. You will see and hear live action scenes of what our Lord endured before He gave His life for us on the cross. Because of His sacrifice, we have the promise of eternal life with HIm in heaven. This powerful event is FREE and OPEN to people of all faiths and ages.

The Queen of Hearts jackpot has hit over $34,300!!!! I'm sure it will be over $36,000 by tomorrow. If the QH appears, the winner receives 60% of the jackpot!!! As of right now that is over $20.5K. Be sure to get your tickets today so you are included in the drawing. Tickets must be purchased weekly.

Tickets may be purchased online using a credit/debit card, Venmo, or Paypal by visiting https://givebutter.com/22-23QH, and we'll take care of filling out your tickets for you. When purchasing online, you'll be asked to tell us what playing card number you want to be written on your tickets. Also, during checkout, you'll be asked if you wish to cover the processing fees on behalf of the school - this is not expected (and you can opt-out of doing so), but it will be certainly appreciated if you choose to.

Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the school office from Mrs. Craig Mon-Fri from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
