Lincoln Woman’s Club partnered with American Legion Post #263 on May 4th for their Schnitzel and Chips Drive thru dinner.

The event was a huge success.

Over 30 members worked on Thursday night and over 60 members sold tickets in the weeks before.

Sixty dinners were donated and delivered to the following First Responder Groups: Lincoln Fire, Lincoln Rural Fire, Lincoln Police, Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, Logan County Paramedics, Logan County Sheriffs’ Department and the National Weather Service.

In addition, one of the Woman's Club members donated ten meals to the Salvation Army and another donated ten meals to a group home in Lincoln.

The club sold almost 650 meals and would like to thank the public for all the support. "You have helped our club achieve our goal of providing a scholarship to a deserving student. We are also able to provide funds to the Lincoln Park District for life guard training and swim lessons."
