[May 11, 2023]
The
Lincoln Post Office is once again this year participating in a food
drive to benefit local food pantries. The Hungry Neighbors project
encourages mail recipients to fill a bag with non-perishable foods
and leave it near your mailbox for pick up by your local delivery
person.
How it works:
Put your donation of non-perishable food next to your mailbox the
morning of the food drive. Your mail carrier will pick up your
donation, take it to the post office, and the donation will be
divided and distributed to one of the local food pantries including
the Lincoln Logan Food Pantry, Holy Family/Catholic Charities Food
pantry, Salvation Army Food Pantry in Lincoln, and the Jefferson
Street Christian Church Food Pantry.

As always, the post office staff appreciate the support of the
community and thank you for your donation.
