To recognize their contributions to LCHS football, Lincoln Daily News is printing profiles of all 19 seniors involved with the Railer football program this year. Today is the second installment in the series; more profiles will be published Thursday to highlight all the senior players and managers who are part of the team. Thank you to all the seniors involved in the program for their contributions this year. And thank you to the families of those seniors for helping support their seniors throughout this historic LCHS football season. Best of luck to all the seniors on their future endeavors.

Favorite memory of this football season:
Beating Jacksonville after everybody at Channel 1450 said we would lose; the whole student section rushed the field and it was just an unforgettable experience.

Advice to underclassmen in football program:
Always try your best and make the best of the time that you have to play this amazing sport because it goes by fast.

The game where we became playoff eligible for the first time in almost 40 years

Advice to underclassmen in football program:
If you want to be good at football, you need to put in the work. You need to grind hard at practice to be good in the game. And you cannot give up the second you fail once. You have to fail to become successful.

Keep working hard and play for your teammates, not yourself.

Learn to love the journey, learn to appreciate the worst parts of practice so you can show your best parts of the game on Monday or Friday
