Another Balloons Over 66 Weekend
is officially now in the past, but for those who
attended it leaves behind some really great
memories. Today LDN will continue its coverage of
the weekend from Saturday’s edition. We will make it
through most of the activities and events including
the Saturday evening balloon launch and glow at Open
Arm Church. But there will be more to come on
Tuesday, so be sure to check out everything in
today’s edition and then come back tomorrow for the
rest of the story.

This year, the Overall Grand
Champion at the annual Up In Smoke Backyard BBQ
competition was Up From the Pits BBQ. This team is
no stranger to the Lincoln competition as it was
also the Overall Grand Champion in 2021.

Congratulations to Chase Dilworth
who was the first person to cross the finish line at
the Balloons Over 66 5K Run on Saturday morning. In
all there were close to 60 competitors, both male
and female in varying age groups. Dilworth won
fastest male runner while Kelly Olthoff was the
fastest in the female category.
