On Saturday night downtown Lincoln
was still hoppin’ long after the pilots had done
their thing at Open Arms Church and gone back to
their motels or headed home. The live entertainment
on the main stage went on until 11 p.m. As the hot
day cooled down a bit after dark, visitors to the
community were happy to linger and enjoy the last
few minutes of the Balloons Over 66 Weekend.

On Saturday, the Dock Dogs were
not the only ones grabbing “big air” at the Balloons
Over 66 Weekend. In Latham Park Open Arms Church was
hosting playtime with lots of bounce houses for kids
to enjoy. This basketball game was a very popular
attraction as kids soon figured out that being about
to jump feet instead of inches was a lot of fun!
