Gossett will reminisce about “A Lifetime of Changes in Logan County”
during the 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 15, meeting of the Logan County
Genealogical & Historical Society, 114 N. Chicago St., located
across from the Lincoln Depot and Tourism Bureau.
Gossett, who attained age 100 last fall, is a well-known retired
radio talk show co-host, and former owner/operator of Gossett’s
Cleaners and Decorating in Lincoln.
He served three years in the Army
Air Corps and after World War II, returned home to begin his
career. His father, Herman Gossett, died at age 50.
The public is invited and refreshments will be served following
a brief business meeting.
