Route 66 Garage Sale weekend begins with preview night at the Humane Society Sale

In spite of the warm temperatures, the Humane Society of Logan County saw a large turnout at their annual Route 66 Garage Sale preview Night at the Logan County Fairgrounds. Once again this year, preview night game bargain hungry shoppers an opportunity to get a head start on the weekend of garage sales in Lincoln.

The yellow door barn at the south end of the fairgrounds was filled with great merchandise ready for grabbing. All the items in the sale have been donated to the HSLC and all the proceeds from the sale will go to support the work of the group as they strive to protect animals in their no-kill shelter in Lincoln, while hoping to find each one the perfect home.

There were many volunteers on hand and the gals at the checkout table were constantly busy as folks snatched up arm loads of goodies. But don’t worry, there is still plenty of great bargains such as lawn care equipment and décor, tons of dishes and cookware, lots of toys and kids stuff, purses, luggage, furniture, Easter, Halloween and Christmas décor, books, wall art, and oh so much more!

If you’re looking for a great spot to grab up a lot of treasures, the HSLC sale at the Logan County Fairgrounds is definitely a “must stop” location for you!

The full array of garage sales kicks off today, and there are 102 sales in Lincoln and surrounding areas. Surely with all those locations, there will be something for everyone, no matter what they need or collect!
