Lincoln Public Library District launches its
READ, RENEW, REPEAT summer reading program with registration on May
20th. During the next two months, the library will host a range of
free activities for children, teens, and adults to encourage and
support a love for reading. In addition, participants will receive
incentives for reaching their reading goals.
Mark your calendars, our kick off program begins June 6 at 10:00 AM
with a FOAM Cannon on the Carnegie lawn. Donuts and drinks will be
provided by UCB Bank. The Peoria Rivermen’s Championship President’s
Cup will also be on display.

activities for kids to make the library a great place to read,
learn, and discover. Summer clubs offer fun free activities all
summer long, however, seating is limited so be sure to register
ahead of scheduled club activities. Summer clubs include STREAM for
K-2nd graders, on Mondays at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Explorer Club for

at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. We will have a special guest from
Heartland Community College reading for story time on Wednesday,
July 17 and mascot, Hunter Hawk, will be visiting with the kids.

every other Friday at 10:00AM. Themed programs on Thursday at
10:00AM include: Nitro Joe’s Science Show, Blake’s Comedy Variety
