Section of Connolley Road in Lincoln to be closed Monday

Connolley Road will be closed starting at 7 a.m. on Monday November 11, 2024, to allow a contractor to install a new water main for Illinois American Water .

The closure will be from 1622 Connolley Dr., which is the Hicks Gas plant south to approximately 1500 feet north of Fifth Street Road. All traffic going to Sysco will need to use Fifth Street to access Sysco offices driveway.

The work is anticipated to take four to six hours, but the but the road will reopen once the work is completed.
