Saturday morning Winnebago Fire under investigation

The Logan County Coroner, Donald P. Peasley, has announced that Jack L. Tucker, 83, was pronounced dead on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 5:20 a.m. at the scene of a fire in the Winnebago motorhome at 1405 N. Kickapoo street. The fire is under investigation by the Logan County Coroner’s Office, Lincoln Fire Department, Lincoln Police Department and Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office.

Agencies responding to the fire were Lincoln City Fire Department, Lincoln Rural Fire Department, Logan County Paramedics Association, Lincoln City Police Department and Logan County Coroner’s Office, Lincoln Street and Alley Department.
