Lincoln Area Music Society Presents Annual Winter Concert

[December 01, 2025]  The Lincoln Area Music Society Orchestra and Chorale are looking forward to bringing some holiday spirit to your season! Ranging from traditional Christmas carols to well-known Christmas movie themes, all ages will be delighted by the eclectic slate of songs.

Orchestral selections, led by director Calob Pluhm, include beloved holiday classics such as Sleigh Ride and Jingle Bell Rock, as well as exciting arrangements of favorite carols.

The chorale, directed by Dinelle Frankland, is performing a set of songs with bell-related lyrics, a haunting arrangement of the ancient hymn, Of the Father’s Love Begotten, and a 3-minute medley that will have you singing along and tapping your feet.

In addition, the newly formed Railsplitter Ringers will begin performing prelude music thirty minutes prior to the program, so come early to enjoy their handbell stylings.

The free concerts are Dec 6 at 7:00 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Lincoln Community High School.
