Lincolnland Technical Education Center (LTEC), in
partnership with the Rotary Club, is proud to recognize Mia Clark, a
senior in the Criminal Justice Program, as the November Student of
the Month.
Mia, the daughter of Sarah Clark, enrolled in the Criminal Justice
program to explore the field and learn more about the many career
paths available. She is especially interested in becoming a police
officer and detective. Following high school, she plans to attend
college to study Criminal Justice and Sociology to further her
understanding of law enforcement and social systems.
In addition to her academic dedication, Mia is an active member of
several school organizations, including the LEAF Club, Library Club,
Student Government, and the Lady Railer Basketball Team. Outside of
school, she works at Sorrento's and the Elk Golf Course, balancing
her responsibilities with an impressive level of commitment and
enthusiasm.
When asked about her experience at LTEC, Mia shared that she enjo¥s
the hands-on activities and in-depth learning opportunities her
class provides. Her instructor, Mr: Donnie Bowman, nominated her for
this recognition noting her exceptional attitude and strong interest
in pursuing a future in the field.
The LTEC Student of the Month program, sponsored by the Rotary Club,
highlights students who exemplify outstanding character, dedication,
and leadership in their chosen career pathways. Each honoree
receives a $50 award in recognition of their hard work and
achievement.
