Lady Railers win barnburner over
Tri-Valley 67-60
[December 06, 2025]
The Lady Railer win was a total team effort Wednesday night
but it sure didn’t hurt that senior Grace Schneider was 5-for-6 from
the free throw line in the last twenty-two seconds of the game
versus the Downs Tri-Valley Vikings. Lincoln won the game 67-60.
Everyone contributed in the game that was led in scoring by Mia
Clark with 16 points. Grace Schneider finished with 15 points.
Freshmen Paisley Holmes and Grace Bivin were phenomenal off the
bench contributing 11 and 10 points respectively.
Lincoln led 17-15 at the end of the first quarter. Mesa McCloud
drained two 3s in the first quarter and Mia Clark tallied five
points. Grace Bivin came in off the bench to toss in two buckets.
The game was tied 27-27 at the half. The senior, Mia Clark, scored
six points here and the freshman, Paisley Holmes, scored two
baskets.

The Vikings led for most of the third quarter, until a steal by
Paisley Holmes and a layup gave Lincoln a 45-44 lead. A big turning
point in the third quarter. Lincoln led 47-44 at the end of the
third quarter. Bivin’s play was also huge in the third quarter as
she scored six points and Paisley Holmes came up with two total
buckets. Clark and Grace Schneider each had four points and Lily
Holmes tossed in a basket to make the quarter complete.
Mesa McCloud’s three put Lincoln up 50-44 to start the fourth
quarter, but the Vikings came back to tie the game 54-54. Leave it
up to little no. 22 to shake things up again. Paisley Holmes took
the ball to the basket, made the shot, and drew the foul. Paisley’s
‘and one’ gave Lincoln a 57-54 lead at the 3:30 mark. Huge play by
the freshman. Even bigger than her last one. More big plays to come
from this freshman for sure. The other freshman, Grace Bivin, was on
the bench at this time, having fouled out at the 5:20 mark. But keep
an eye on these two.
Moving on from the 57-54 score, Mia Clark sank a free throw and then
Grace Schneider took over by scoring the last nine points of the
game for Lincoln. Her late game heroics included a layup and going
7-for-10 from the free throw line in the last two minutes of the
game.
It was a great win for Lincoln, who relied on their seniors and also
enjoyed some great moments by their freshmen.
