[December 05, 2025]

42-15 on Wednesday night to win the 2025 Class 7-1A Sectional

The Lady Wolverines have punched their ticket to the state
tournament!
The Lady Wolverines were off and running after the ball was tipped.
Brynn Clark, Rowynn Fink and McKenna Hoefs each tossed in two
baskets and Piper Craig added one to guide the ladies to a 14-6 lead
in the first quarter.
By halftime WLB was up 23-12.
They were leaving no doubt by the time the third quarter ended with
a 31-15 lead.
Audrina Wilson led WLB with five points in the fourth quarter while
Craig tossed in two more baskets to help the team to the 42-15 win.
Piper Craig led WLB in scoring with 11 points.
Brooklyn Clark won the IESA Sportsmanship Award for WLB and fun
fact, it was her 13th birthday. Now that’s a good birthday.
West Lincoln Broadwell (21-4) will play Hume Shiloh (12-10) on
Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the 7th Grade Class 1A State Tournament at
Assumption Central Middle School. The winner will play at 5:00 p.m.
