Mount Pulaski was hot from the start, leading 17-4 after the
first quarter. Murphy, Marten and Addison Brown each hit 3s in
the opening quarter.
By halftime Mount Pulaski maintained a 28-15 lead. Audrey Cooper
joined Murphy and Brown in the three-point party.
At the end of the third quarter the score was 37-25.
Cooper led the team with seven points in the fourth quarter as
Mount Pulaski secured the 51-36 win.
Monday night’s game was a Varsity game only.
Mount Pulaski will play Illini Central/Greenview on Thursday
night at Greenview. The Varsity game will be at 6:00 p.m. There
is no JV game.
