Lady Railers sweep Springfield

The Lady Railers swept the Lanphier Lions on Friday night in
Central State Eight action in Springfield.
The JV team kicked off the evening with a 44-17 win.
Sage Gilbert led the JV team with 14 points and Emma Hutchison added
11 points.
The Varsity team won easily over Lanphier 74-41.
Lily Holmes led Lincoln with 20 points.
Grace Bivin (14), Mia Clark (13) and Paisley Holmes (10) also scored
in double-digits for Lincoln.
Lincoln led the Varsity game 23-5 after the first quarter. Ten
points from Lily Holmes and two 3s from Mesa McCloud paced the Lady
Railers in the first quarter.
Lincoln was up 46-25 at halftime. Six Lady Railers hit the scoring
column, with Mia Clark leading the way with seven points.
Grace Bivin’s six points in the third quarter guided Lincoln towards
a 66-31 lead.
Lily Holmes scored five more points in the fourth quarter to reach
her game-high of 20 points and with Elizabeth Chen scoring three
points, Lincoln’s 74-41 win with a running clock in the fourth
quarter was in the books.
Lincoln improved to 8-3 overall with the win.
The Lady Railers will play at the Dixon-KSB Holiday Classic December
26th, 27th and 29th.
