Mount Pulaski Lady Toppers take
down Tolono Unity 55-23

The Mount Pulaski Lady Toppers remain undefeated on the
season, this time picking up a 55-23 win over Tolono Unity in the
2025 Riverton Christmas Classic on Saturday.
Three Lady Toppers led the scoring: Elayna Marten (14), Alyson
Murphy (12) and Addison Brown (10).
Mount Pulaski was pouring in the points in the first quarter,
sprinting to a 22-2 lead. The trio above scored all but three of the
Toppers points to start the game. Claire Bobell added a
three-pointer to complete the scoring.
By halftime Mount Pulaski was up 37-8 with seven players sharing the
scoring.
The starters added a few more points in the third quarter, capturing
a 53-16 lead.
Ella Martin tossed in Mount Pulaski’s lone bucket in the final
quarter and the 55-23 win was settled pretty quickly.
Mount Pulaski is off to an 11-0 start.
The Lady Toppers play Litchfield today at 6:00 p.m. in the
tournament.
