LINCOLN, IL – Heartland Bank and Trust Company
is excited to announce plans for the construction of a new, modern
Woodlawn branch to replace the current building at 818 Woodlawn Road
in Lincoln. Work on the site will begin soon, with the new branch
expected to open in fall 2025.
The decision to build a new facility comes after careful
consideration of the bank’s ongoing commitment to the Lincoln
community and the need for a more efficient, accessible space. The
current building, which has served the area since 1979, will be
replaced by a full-service branch designed to meet the changing
needs of local customers.
“We’re thrilled to invest in a new, upgraded facility that will
better serve our customers for many years to come,” said Dave Irwin,
senior vice president and senior lender at Heartland Bank. Lance
Carter, president and CEO of Heartland Bank, added, “Our commitment
to the Lincoln community remains strong. Our new Woodlawn branch
reflects our dedication to providing exceptional service and
supporting the area’s growth. We look forward to building long-term
relationships with our customers in this updated space.”
Heartland Bank has a long history of serving central Illinois and
remains committed to being a trusted partner in the communities it
serves. The bank will continue to provide updates as construction
progresses and the new branch’s opening date approaches.
