Fatal motor vehicle accident Thursday, January 23 on I-55

 

[January 24, 2025]  Logan County Coroner’s Office, Illinois State Police are investigating a Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident that occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025 on Interstate- I -55 at the 118 ½ mile marker near Broadwell, Illinois. Andrea J. Bendorf, 32, of Divernon, Illinois was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Donald P. Peasley.

Responding agencies to the scene were Lincoln Rural Fire Department, Elkhart Fire and Rescue Squad, Logan County Paramedic Association, Illinois State Police, Logan County Sheriff’s Department, Logan County Coroner’s Office.
