Return July 18
[July 09, 2025]
LINCOLN, IL – A great crowd and a strong field of competitors
helped kick off the holiday weekend in style this past Thursday,
July 3 at Lincoln Speedway, as the BRANDT Red, White & Blue Triple
30’s delivered an action-packed night of dirt track excitement. With
five divisions and more than 90 cars in the pits, fans were treated
to a racy surface and thrilling battles from start to finish.
In the DIRTcar Pro Late Models, it was Dakota Ewing, of Warrensburg,
IL, claiming top honors after a hard-fought race. Kade Ballinger, a
talented teenager from Lovington, IL, finished a strong second.
Brandon Sweitzer, Ian Logan, and Erik Vanapeldoorn completed the top
five in a 20-car field.
The DIRTcar Modifieds also brought out 20 competitors, and the
racing did not disappoint. Clinton, IL’s Collin Alexander led the
opening laps, but Jacob Steinkoenig, of Highland, IL, eventually
found a way around and went on to score the win. Alexander finished
second, with NASCAR veteran Kenny Wallace, Ryan Hamilton, and
Brandon Roberts rounding out the top five.

In their first appearance of the season, the DIRTcar Pro Mods
impressed with a competitive field and strong race. Bret Eilerman,
also of Highland, IL, started from the pole and never looked back en
route to the win. Jeremy Nichols made a big charge from seventh to
finish second, while young standout Kody Kovski came home third. Ken
Schrader and Joel Ortberg finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Bobby Beiler, of Blue Mound, IL, scored the win in the DIRTcar
Street Stock feature after starting from the outside of row one.
Nichols added another podium with a second-place finish, followed by
Jacob Rexing, Kyle Anderson, and Nick Justice.
