Hope on 5th Open Mic Night
Fundraiser at Spirited Republic
[June 04, 2025]
Join Open Mic Night with Silas
Tockey and Friends on Thursday, June 12th from 7 – 10 PM at Spirited
Republic/Limerick Brewing Company in Lincoln, Illinois. The evening
will include wonderful entertainment from the talented Silas Tockey,
along with amazing guest celebrity performers including Brittney
McLaughlin, Lesleigh Bennett, Austin Garriott and Betsy Buttell. All
tips to these musicians will be donated to Hope on 5th. While
enjoying the music and drinks, be sure to stop into Top Hat Creamery
for a treat. Ten percent of all proceeds from the sales at Top Hat
during the event will also be donated to Hope on 5th.
While enjoying the entertainment, learn more about Hope on 5th,
which continues its work at the former St. Clara’s Manor on Fifth
Street in Lincoln, Illinois. This building is being transformed into
a shelter for those in need of temporary and transitional housing as
they navigate their way to a more permanent housing solution in our
community. Hope on 5th also offers services to help that transition
to suitable housing and a successful life.
Homelessness is often unseen in our community, but the need is
great. Currently 18 men, women and children reside at Hope on 5th,
and a waiting list has been created which currently includes another
18 people in need.
