Historical Society June meeting to feature Stan Buckles
[June 12, 2025]
The program at Logan County
Genealogical and Historical Society's monthly meeting on Monday,
June 16, 2025, will be presented by Stan Buckles, Mt. Pulaski,
discussing his recent book, “Not Afraid to Go Anywhere: A History of
the 114th Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry”, about Logan County
men who joined the military during the Civil War. Their individual
stories will be of interest, as well as that unit’s involvement in
the war.
A short monthly board meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by
the featured program. Refreshments will be served after the program.
