Sally Turner announces reelection
campaign for state senate
[June 13, 2025]
Lincoln, IL – Today, Sally
Turner will announce her reelection campaign for state senate in the
44th Senate District. Turner plans on making this announcement
tonight at an event for her with friends and supporters at the
Spirited Republic in Lincoln.
“I am proud of my record in the state senate. Whether it was
fighting against the Chicago Democrats tax and spend agenda or
supporting the people of the 44th district – I am ready to put my
record up against anyone in 2026.” Sally said.

Senator Sally Turner’s record in
the Illinois State Senate includes standing up for homeless
veterans, supporting our farmers and the agricultural industry,
protecting the Mahomet Aquifer, defending children against sex
crimes, and ensuring more care for those with pre-existing
conditions such as celiac disease.
“I am excited to meet with every
constituent, community, and organization in this district to
continue hearing their needs and making decisions to help move
Illinois forward. Despite being in the super minority in the Senate,
we have been able to make some positive change across this state. We
still need to make Illinois a beacon across the Midwest, and more
work needs to be done. That is why I am running for reelection.”
