Summer Lawn Social at Lincoln
Public Library
[June 18, 2025]
The Lincoln Public Library
hosted a new event on Saturday called a Summer Lawn Social. Patrons
were invited to come to the library and enjoy midday with a cool
drink on picnic blankets or at cafe tables set up on the lawn of the
Carnegie building.

The Rolling Buttery was on hand
with delicious homemade pastries and lunch items for purchase, as
well as special treats for Father’s Day. A portion of the proceeds
from sales at the Rolling Buttery were donated to the library for an
upcoming special project.

The cooler weather and peaceful
setting was the perfect scene for relaxing outdoors with friends or
a good book. Two more Summer Lawn Socials are scheduled for June 28
and July 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the lawn at the Lincoln Public
Library.
