Heartland Community College Lincoln to hold “College Conversations”

[June 20, 2025]  Lincoln, IL, Jun. 19, 2025 – Heartland Community College Lincoln will hold a series of “College Conversations” to answer questions and help students get started toward attaining a degree or certification.

The informal sessions will be held at different locations throughout the area.

At College Conversations, Kelsi Edwards, Associate Director of Heartland Community College in Lincoln, will be able to assist students in getting started on the application process for any Heartland Community College degree or certificate program and provide next steps for enrollment in the fall term.

Edwards can also provide general HCC information for those considering general education courses toward transfer to a four-year university, work-ready training, GED preparation classes, and local continuing education classes.

College Conversations are scheduled at the following locations:

· Thursday, June 26, 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. at Sir Renna Tea in Lincoln

· Tuesday, July 8, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Guest House Coffee & Pastries in Lincoln

· Wednesday, July 30, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Missy’s Sweet Shoppe in Atlanta
