Patty Huffer and Jenna Michalsen
big prize winners in the 2025 Cozy Up Winter Reading Program
[March 11, 2025]
On February 24th Lincoln Public Library District
wrapped up its 2nd Annual "Cozy Up Winter Reading Program,"
sponsored by Lincoln Daily News.
This year's 60 participants were given the challenge of reading
(anything!) for thirty days in a row and received a grand prize
drawing ticket for completing at least 10 days of the challenge.
They were also given opportunities to participate in other related
challenges, like the Cozy Reading Pop-Ups and completing book
reviews, to secure more tickets for the drawing.

By the final day of the program, the ticket bin was
filled to the brim!
This year's participants competed for the chance to win one of two
grand prizes:
"The Libby Library Basket"- filled with a BRAND NEW Gen 11 Kindle
E-Reader, a Kindle holder/protector, and a hand strap for the Kindl.
"The Home Library Basket"- filled with a hardcover Reading Journal,
fun bookish pens to use with the journal, a set of pop-up book ends,
and a Gift Certificate for Lincoln's local bookstore, Ink and
Imprint.
