Fatal motor vehicle accident on
U.S. Highway 121
[May 31, 2025]
Logan County Coroner’s Office
and Illinois State Police are investigating a semi versus car
accident that occurred on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 1:20 p.m. at 1100
street and US Highway 121. Both victims in the car have been
pronounced deceased Logan County Coroner Donald P. Peasley. Names
are being with held pending notification of next of kin. Autopsies
will be scheduled.
