Lincoln Christian Church Light up
the Night event enjoys a large turnout

Though the weather was chilly,
Thursday, October 30, several first responder vehicles from around
the area were lighting up Lincoln Christian Church’s parking lot for
kids to visit.
At each vehicle, members of the
Lincoln Christian Church high school youth group or first responders
handed candy out to children. The Brew 66 coffee trailer was also
out selling coffee, hot chocolate and cider to keep people warm.
In another area, costumed
characters were handing out goodie bags with flashlights, a take
home craft and cross necklaces.

Those who wished to see the inside
of a fire truck or ambulance were able to climb in and sit in the
driver’s seat.
Many families were out enjoying the
activities offered and meeting local first responders who work to
keep communities safe.
