Elkhart to host annual Holiday
Tree Lighting Celebration on December 5

The Village of Elkhart is
excited to welcome residents and visitors to the Annual Holiday Tree
Lighting Celebration on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Veterans' Park
on Main Street. This cherished tradition brings the community
together to celebrate the spirit of the season in a warm and festive
atmosphere.
Festivities begin at 5:30 PM with Christmas caroling, hot chocolate,
and cookies for all to enjoy. At 6:00 PM, Santa Claus will make his
grand entrance to greet children, hear holiday wishes, and lead the
countdown to light the community tree. The park will come alive with
a beautiful display of lights, marking the official start of the
holiday season in Elkhart.
Event Highlights:
Community Caroling: Join in classic Christmas songs led by local
singers and volunteers.
Santa’s Arrival & Tree Lighting: Capture the magic as Santa lights
the tree and visits with children.
Family Fun & Treats: Enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, and festive
activities for all ages.
