AP Thrift Haus supports Lincoln
Memorial Foundation with “Shop Pink Saturdays” to help fund free
mammograms for our community
[October 03, 2025]
LINCOLN – This October, AP
Thrift Haus is excited to support the Lincoln Memorial Foundation
through “Shop Pink Saturdays,” a month-long initiative dedicated to
helping the Foundation fund free mammograms for uninsured or
underinsured members of our community.
Every Saturday in October, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., AP Thrift Haus
will donate 100% of profits to the Lincoln Memorial Foundation.
These dollars will be used to help expand access to mammography
screenings – removing cost barriers and ensuring our community has
access to this life-saving service.
“Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among
women, but early detection changes everything,” said Sarah Helm,
director of the Lincoln Memorial Foundation. “Lincoln Memorial
Foundation is committed to funding free mammograms in October year
after year for uninsured or underinsured members of our community,
and we are grateful to be able to do so thanks to the generosity of
local donors. We are especially thankful to Amanda and AP Thrift
Haus for turning a shopping trip into a powerful way to support
local health.”
Shoppers can join in by:
- Visiting AP Thrift Haus each Saturday in October, 10 a.m. to 4
p.m.
- Bringing friends, family, and neighbors to shop and spread the
word
- Wearing pink and sharing the cause on social media

“At AP Thrift Haus,
we take pride in offering an upscale shopping experience with
thoughtfully curated, high-quality finds” said Amanda Pollice,
owner of AP Thrift Haus. “This cause is especially close to my
heart because both my mom and aunt are breast cancer survivors.
We want our customers to feel good about their purchase – and
during Shop Pink Saturdays, that feeling goes even deeper.
Supporting this cause means that a new wardrobe piece can become
something bigger: a step toward early detection and maybe even
helping save a life. I can’t think of a better way for our shop
to honor women who are dear to me, give back to the community
and support an organization that we love.”
AP Thrift Haus, located at 1400 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln, opened
in 2024, and offers a curated selection of quality clothing,
accessories, and shoes. The store emphasizes a boutique style
thrift shopping experience while providing the community with
affordable, sustainable retail options.
