Mt. Pulaski open burning ban
[October 07, 2025]
Due to ongoing drought
conditions, relative humidity values dropping into the 25-35% range,
and southerly winds gusting over 20mph...an enhanced fire danger
will develop on Sunday. Therefore in accordance with 70 ILCS
705/8.20 (c), a ban on open burning within the boundaries of the Mt.
Pulaski Rural Fire Protection District is in effect as of Saturday,
October 4, 2025 until Sunday, October 12, 2025.
