The Monday, October 20th Pink Shirt picture features the staff at Carroll Catholic School and Bret Tripplett Heating and Cooling in Lincoln. While this is a diverse pairing, there is something that these two groups do have in common, they are each experts in their field. As the saying goes, you wouldn’t call a podiatrist for brain surgery, implying that whatever the need, it is better to place that need in the hands of an expert.

The same is true with your cancer. Yes, your general practitioner is great for what ails in a general sense of the word. However, when it comes to a specific disease such as cancer, trust your care to those who are specifically trained in that line. When your tests indicate there could be an issue and your doctor recommends an oncologist, don’t delay. Let the experts weigh in on your prognosis and aid you through your journey.

The event was preceded by a ribbon cutting ceremony to reintroduce the LCTB to the community.
