Logan County Tourism Bureau to spotlight "small town charm" in local communities

[October 20, 2025]   The Logan County Tourism Bureau was awarded a marketing plan grant which focuses on the communities in the Logan County. The emphasis will be to explore Logan County through the eyes of visitors who will travel from one community to another. The LCTB has asked these visitors to capture what is sometimes called “small town charm.” I have spoken with the manager on numerous occasions and they are going to be taking pictures and filming the uniqueness of the villages. They will be looking at landscapes and landmarks and the essence of small-town charm; that includes dining. Various types of social media will be utilized to capture each community’s significance.

As a lifelong citizen of Logan County and a person who grew up in one of our small towns, I find it exciting to be a part of showcasing the history, the culture and the agricultural characteristics of the people and the place. There has been contact with the
mayors and we want to be in touch with them should they have questions. Any input would be welcomed. Please contact me at (217) 828-0659.
