WLB wins 2025 7th grade county
tournament

The West Lincoln Broadwell Lady Wolverines defeated Chester
East-Lincoln 44-10 on Saturday to win the 2025 7th Grade Girls Logan
County basketball championship hosted by Carroll Catholic School.
WLB led 15-9 at halftime and ran away with the game in the second
half. The Lady Wolverines lead was 32-10 at the end of the third
quarter.
Piper Craig led WLB with 12 points.
Rowynn Fink added 10 points for the Lady Wolverines.
Lila Cross led CEL with 10 points.
In the semifinal game WLB defeated Mount Pulaski 34-3.
WLB held Mount Pulaski scoreless in the first half. The Lady
Wolverines had a 27-0 lead at halftime. Rowynn Fink had all 13 of
her points in the second quarter. The team poured in 20 points in
the second quarter with Brynn Clark scoring a three and Craig and
Wilson each tossing in a bucket. At the end of the third quarter the
score was 30-3.
Rowynn Fink led the Lady Wolverines with 13 points.
