Olympia FFA gives back to the community through Feed the
Farmer
On Monday, October 13th, the Olympia FFA hosted their annual
Feed the Farmer. This consists of the FFA members providing food
to the local farmers. Kamryn Rader states, “On October 13th, the
Olympia FFA grill crew started the day off by cooking 440 pork
burgers and wrapping them in buns to give to the local farmers
who came into the elevators throughout the district. We also
served cookies and chips along with water provided by the
elevator. This is a community service project that we have done
for many years now and will continue to do in the future. The
farmers love getting meals, and come back for their families in
the fields as well. Our members love seeing the faces of
familiar farmers time and time again!” This is a great
opportunity for the FFA members to give back to their community
and show their appreciation to our local farmers. The Olympia
FFA encourages every local farmer to come out and grab a meal
for their family, next year! |
