Stags eye regional championship

The Hartsburg-Emden Stags will play Springfield Calvary for
the Class 1A Regional Volleyball Championship tonight at 6:00 p.m.
at UIS in Springfield.
The Stags defeated Pawnee 25-12 and 25-14 on Wednesday night in the
regional semifinals.
Alayna Briggs led the Stags with 9 kills versus Pawnee.
The Stags improved their record to 32-5 on the season.
Springfield Calvary beat Mount Pulaski 25-23, 17-25 and 25-23 in the
other semifinal on Wednesday night.
