Mount Pulaski lost a tough one on Tuesday night
at The Birdcage.
After dropping set one 25-20 to the Cardinals, the Hilltoppers
crushed the birds 25-12 in set two, forcing a third set.
Set three was neck and neck with the Cardinals finally winning
29-27.
Ella Martin led the Toppers with 11 kills. She also had 11 digs.
Elayna Marten added 10 kills and 2 blocks.
Olivia Smith had 11 digs, 3 aces and 2 blocks.
Audrey Cooper led the team with 26 digs.
Alyson Murphy had 26 assists and 14 digs.
The Cardinals won the JV game 25-20, 23-25 and 15-10.
Mount Pulaski will host Greenview Thursday night. The JV game
will start at 6:00 p.m. The Varsity will follow at 7:00 p.m. |
