Local workforce graduates to
celebrate career readiness on September 29
[September 17, 2025]
Lincoln, IL — Eleven local
residents will soon celebrate their completion of a three-week
intensive workforce development program designed to prepare them for
new career opportunities. The graduation will take place on Monday,
September 29, at 5:30 p.m. at Hope on 5th, 200 Fifth Street,
Lincoln, IL.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in interactive
workshops covering:
• Elevating Your Reputation at Work
• Communicating with Confidence
• Decision-Making and Problem-Solving
• Managing Stress and Building Resilience
• Building Service Skills for Every Interaction
• Relating Across Differences at Work

In addition to these workshops,
participants had access to a career closet filled with professional
clothing, courtesy of a local clothing drive, received professional
headshots, and networked with one another over dinner. Each graduate
will receive a resume-ready certificate during the graduation event,
followed by a cake-and-punch reception where they will have the
opportunity to network with local employers.
Community members and employers are invited to attend the graduation
and celebrate the accomplishments of these hardworking participants.
Employers will receive a program featuring each graduate’s photo,
bio, and contact information, making it easy to connect with
candidates for potential interviews and hiring opportunities.
