Workcamp for Lincoln Returns in June 2026!

[September 27, 2025]  Lincoln, IL — Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois (CAPCIL) is thrilled to announce that Workcamp for Lincoln is returning in June 2026, bringing hundreds of youth and adult volunteers from across the country to Lincoln and Logan County to repair homes, improve neighborhoods, and transform lives.

This life-changing initiative is made possible through a valued partnership with Group Mission Trips, the national Workcamp organizer, and Open Arms Christian Fellowship, who will provide lodging for volunteers during their stay.

Workcamp volunteers will spend an entire week working on home repair projects for elderly, disabled, and low-income residents. Projects may include painting, porch and step repairs, wheelchair ramps, and other essential improvements designed to make homes safer, warmer, and more accessible.
