Glenwood shuts out Lincoln 3-0

[April 02, 2026]  The Lincoln Railsplitters dropped their third game in a row this week, losing 3-0 to the Glenwood Titans on Wednesday afternoon in Chatham.   

 

Bryce Vlahovich was the losing pitcher for Lincoln. He worked five and two-thirds innings, giving up four hits and one earned run. He walked nine and struck out three batters.

Brett Hayes pitched one-third of an inning for Lincoln.

Lincoln out-hit the Titans five to four but just could not get the runners home.

Karson Komnick, Grady Rutledge, Austin Lucas, Tate Aue and Cooper Koehler had the hits for Lincoln.

The Titans had an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Glenwood added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. A sacrifice bunt and a sacrifice fly both plated runs.

Titans pitching struck out seven Railspllitters.

Landon Leach was the winning pitcher for Glenwood.

The Railsplitters even their record at 5-5.

Lincoln will play at Springfield High School on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.
