Christmas tree collection within
the City of Lincoln

The Lincoln Street Department
will begin picking up Christmas trees on Wednesday, January 14,
2026. Trees should be placed at the curb no later than 7:00am that
morning.
Crews will start collection at 7:00am and run continuously until
they have completed a pass through the city. They will not return to
an area after a pass has been made to pick up any trees that were
not out.
Trees should be placed at the curb and removed from bags. Trees
should also be free from all decorating material and stands. Any
trees not meeting these requirements will not be picked up.
Citizens may also dispose of their trees at the Landscape Waste
Facility, located at 957 Broadwell Dr., on Wednesdays and Saturdays
from 8:00am to 3:50pm.
