[January 12, 2026]
July 5, 2025- This photo from the
Lincoln Park District's Independence Day celebration has a great
fireworks display that shows red, white and blue.
July 7,2025-This photo from the
fourth of July Children's parade is eye catching because it features
a cute child all decked out in red, white and blue.
July 10, 2025-This photo taken at
Modern Brake and Alignment as they remodeled one their buildings is
interesting because of the history they uncovered when they got to
the original brickwork.
July 25, 2025-This is a great photo
because it not only shows kids posing on the new Lincoln sign, but
you can also see the Logan County Courthouse dome in the background.
July 30, 2025-This photo shows
current and former postal workers gathered outside Lincoln's post
office to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States
Postal Service. It is fascinating to realize how long the postal
service has been around.
August 2, 2025. This photo taken at
the Logan County Fair is especially cute due to the child taking a
photo while someone is taking a photo of the child.

August 4, 2025-This photo shows the
smiles on the children's faces as they ride the merry-go-round at
the Logan County Fair, indicating how much children enjoy the rides.
August 25, 2025-This photo taken
during the Saturday morning fly in on balloon festival weekend
showing two balloons with similar patterns and a steeple in the
foreground provides a great view from above.
August 28, 2025 - ten-year-old
Emmary Grenlund set up a snack stand to raise money for the Central
Illinois Veterans Commission and seeing kids raise money for good
causes is heartwarming.
September 8, 2025-At Zion Lutheran
School’s 50th anniversary celebration, former and current faculty
and staff posed for a photo, which provided a good example of the
school’s long history.
September 16, 2025-On a warm
September day during Atlanta Fall Festival weekend, kids at Atlanta
First responders' meet and greet enjoyed running through the spray
from the fire hoses.
September 20, 2025-A picture at the
Railsplitter Festival showing a man on stilts and a child standing
on hay bales looking at him provided an interesting size contrast
between the two.
